Setting up your remote
There is no setup. This is a direct infrared replacement, so it uses the same codes your original LG remote did.

Buttons worth knowing
Netflix and Amazon
Open either app directly from any input. Your TV needs to be connected to the internet.
LIVE ZOOM
Zooms into part of the picture while watching live TV, on sets that support it.
Q.MENU and T.OPT
Quick settings and teletext options, same as the buttons on your original remote.
If the remote is not responding
Check the batteries are the right way round, then make sure nothing is blocking the sensor on the front of your TV.
If it still will not respond, unplug the TV at the wall for 30 seconds and plug it back in. That clears most issues.

Find your TV's model number below. It is printed on a label on the back of the TV, or under Settings, All Settings, General, About This TV.

Frequently asked questions
Is this an LG Magic Remote?
No. This is the standard infrared remote with normal buttons. It does not have the pointer, the scroll wheel or voice control. If your original remote had a wheel in the middle and you waved it at the screen to move a cursor, this is not the right replacement.
Do I need to pair or program it?
No. Fit 2 × AAA batteries, point it at your TV and it works straight away. It sends the same infrared codes as the original LG remote, so there is nothing to set up.
My TV model is not on the list
The list covers the models we have confirmed. LG reuses the same remote across a lot of sets, so yours may still work. Send us your model number and we will check before you order.
Is this a genuine LG remote?
It is a compatible replacement, not an official LG product. It uses the same infrared codes, so every button behaves identically to the original.
Will the Netflix and Amazon buttons work?
Yes, provided your TV is a smart model with those apps installed and connected to the internet.
How long will delivery take?
Standard delivery is free on orders over £5 and arrives in 3–5 business days, or £2.99 below that. Express delivery is 1–2 business days, £8.50 or free on orders over £25. Order before 4:30pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same working day.
