Setting up your remote
There is no setup. This is a direct infrared replacement, so it uses the same codes your original Samsung remote did.

Buttons worth knowing
Netflix, Prime Video, Rakuten TV
Open any of the three directly from wherever you are. Your TV needs to be connected to the internet.
SOURCE
Cycles through your HDMI inputs and aerial, for switching to a games console or set-top box.
CH LIST and PRE-CH
Brings up your channel list, and jumps back to the last channel you were on.
If the remote is not responding
Check the batteries are the right way round, then make sure nothing is blocking the sensor on the front of your TV.
If it still will not respond, unplug the TV at the wall for 30 seconds and plug it back in. That clears most issues.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the Samsung Smart Remote with voice control?
No. This is the standard infrared remote with a full set of number buttons. It does not have a microphone or voice search. If your original remote was the short, slim one with hardly any buttons and a microphone at the top, this is not the right replacement.
Do I need to pair or program it?
No. Fit 2 × AAA batteries, point it at your TV and it works straight away. It sends the same infrared codes as the original Samsung remote, so there is nothing to set up.
My TV model is not on the list
The list covers the models we have confirmed. Samsung reuses the same remote across a lot of sets, so yours may still work. Send us your model number and we will check before you order.
Is this a genuine Samsung remote?
It is a compatible replacement, not an official Samsung product. It uses the same infrared codes, so every button behaves identically to the original.
Will the Netflix, Prime Video and Rakuten buttons work?
Yes, provided your TV is a smart model with those apps installed and connected to the internet.
How long will delivery take?
Standard delivery is free on orders over £5 and arrives in 3–5 business days, or £2.99 below that. Express delivery is 1–2 business days, £8.50 or free on orders over £25. Order before 4:30pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same working day.
