Setting up your remote
This is an Alexa voice remote. It pairs to your Fire TV device by Bluetooth, which takes about 10 seconds.
Fit the batteries
Fit 2 × AAA batteries, matching the + and − marks.
Switch on your Fire TV
Plug in your Fire TV Stick or Cube and wait for the home screen.
Hold Home for 10 seconds
Hold the Home button for about 10 seconds. The light flashes and the remote pairs.
Set up TV volume and power
On your Fire TV go to Settings → Equipment Control → Manage Equipment → TV, and follow the steps.
If it will not pair
Hold Home for 10 seconds again, standing close to the Fire TV device.
Unplug your Fire TV device for 30 seconds, plug it back in, wait for the home screen and try again.
It does not fit the Fire TV Stick 1st Generation, Fire TV Box, Fire TV Edition TVs or the Fire TV Cube 3rd Generation.

Do I need to pair it?
Yes. With your Fire TV device switched on, hold the Home button for about 10 seconds until it pairs.
How do I control my TV volume and power?
Go to Settings → Equipment Control → Manage Equipment → TV on your Fire TV and follow the steps. The remote then controls your TV volume and power too.
Does Alexa voice work?
Yes. Press and hold the microphone button and speak to search, open apps and control playback.
How do I find which Fire TV device I have?
On your Fire TV go to Settings → My Fire TV → About. The device name is at the top.
How long will delivery take?
Standard delivery is £1.55 by Royal Mail 2nd Class (2–3 working days), and free on orders over £9. Express is £6.00 by Evri Next Day (1–2 working days), and free on orders over £30. Order before 4:30pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same working day.
What if it is not right, or it is faulty?
You have 30 days to return it in new condition. If it is faulty, damaged or we sent the wrong item, contact us and we will refund or replace it with no return postage to pay. For other returns, the return postage is yours.
