No codes, no pairing, no programming. It is ready as soon as the batteries are in.
Fit 2 × AAA batteries and point it at your TV
It uses infrared, so point it at the front of the TV with nothing in the way. It has a full number pad and Smart Hub button.
Fit the batteries
Open the cover on the back and fit 2 × AAA batteries, matching the + and − marks.
Point it at the TV
Aim at the front of the TV, where the sensor is (usually bottom centre or bottom right).
Press power
Your TV should respond straight away. Every button works the same as your original remote.
Before you buy, check
This is the standard infrared remote with a number pad for Samsung H, HU, JU and JS series TVs. It is not the slim Smart Remote with a microphone.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to pair or program it?
No. It works straight away using infrared, just like your original remote. Fit 2 × AAA batteries and point it at the TV.
Why is my TV not responding?
Check the batteries are the right way round and fresh. Make sure nothing is blocking the front of the TV, and stand within a few metres. Bright sunlight on the TV sensor can also stop infrared remotes working.
How can I tell if the remote is sending a signal?
Point the front of the remote at your phone camera and press a button while looking at the screen. You should see a small light flash on the phone screen. If it flashes, the remote is working and the problem is the TV’s sensor or line of sight. If it does not flash, swap the batteries.
How long will delivery take?
Standard delivery is £1.55 by Royal Mail 2nd Class (2–3 working days), and free on orders over £9. Express is £6.00 by Evri Next Day (1–2 working days), and free on orders over £30. Order before 4:30pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same working day.
What if it is not right, or it is faulty?
You have 30 days to return it in new condition. If it is faulty, damaged or we sent the wrong item, contact us and we will refund or replace it with no return postage to pay. For other returns, the return postage is yours.
What is in the box?
One Samsung BN59-01175N replacement remote control. Batteries are not included.
